The kitchen, the beating heart of the house

What is undergoing the kitchen is a very special transformation.

Once it was only the place where meals were prepared, where the family gathered around the table the time strictly necessary to consume them.

 

Today, keeping and expanding home automation and technology at the service of gastronomy, has become the real heart of the home: the contemporary kitchen is perfectly integrated with the rest of the house, and assumes connotations generally open space.

The technology of the extractor hoods is now so advanced that it is superfluous to divide and isolate the spaces to avoid the spread of unpleasant smells.

 

The renewed attention for the preparation of home-made food means that the kitchen is a perfect organized machine, with dedicated spaces divided into cabinets, shelves and containers that no longer accommodate only pots and utensils, but they are real windows or bookcases.

More and more specific attention is dedicated to the organization of the space: in smaller houses, the kitchen becomes multifunctional, a place dedicated to conviviality and leisure, where the watchword is versatility.

 

All this underlines the concept of branded total living, like the Air kitchen by Lago, awarded with the Mention of Honor at the Compasso d'Oro ADI 2018.
