The kitchen is history, it is evolution, it is the beating heart of every home.
Let's find out the trends 2019-2020:
HANDLES YES OR HANDLES NO?
No handles, they disappear almost completely, giving way to light, dynamic and minimal design opening systems. The materials, finishes and contrasting colors keep the atmosphere alive: few details, but important ones, such as the door with a colored grip profile or skirting board.

Another very popular solution is the door with integrated handle. In this kitchen model, the predominant feature is the anthracite frame of the door, which highlights the division of the furniture, and which continues below the top where it houses the integrated handle.

WORD OF ORDER: PRACTICALITY (WHICH WATCHES AESTHETICS)!
The worktop is certainly the most exposed part of the kitchen, it must be resistant and easily washable. Today there is a possibility of infinite choice of materials: from natural materials like marble and stone to composites capable of imitating any type of texture and color. Choosing a work plan no longer concerns only the practical fact, but also the aesthetic result. Let's look at two examples:
1. The wow effect is due to the plan-back constancy, especially with the use of marble and marble textures that accentuate the continuity of the vein from the horizontal to the vertical;

2. The island with the cooking area that reminds us of the American style is always very popular. The worktop here is cascading, meaning that the same material of the top is also used to "close" the bases sideways, thus creating a sort of monoblock.

- HEIGHT + DEPTH
The kitchen of the future will increasingly exploit the bases instead of the wall units, increasing the depth from the current 60 cm to 70 cm, including the drawers. In this way, more space is gained both on the work surface and in the storage of the baskets, which are much more comfortable and practical than the doors thanks to the total extraction of the mechanism.
By eliminating the wall units, the back of the kitchen takes on a new look, never seen before: it becomes a play of light and accessories. The classic LED bars are no longer needed to illuminate the work surface because the back is already bright and diffuses the light evenly. And not only ... it is also magnetic, usable both as a clipboard, but also to place accessories such as ladle holders, spice holders, Ipad holders.
